The evolution of the city and its inhabitants has led to several heritage buildings of housing now being commercial. This building, a jewel of art deco, was immersed in a commercial area and that, unlike its immediate context, serves as a theater school. A listed historical building, which has been modified and mistreated due to its various uses over time.
The challenge has been to rehabilitate a place where living arts are learned, experienced and energized. For all these reasons, a project was sought that would respect the original and patrimonial spatiality of the house, adapting them to the structures necessary for a theater school, where bodies dance, sing, dance and build new occupations of space with their gestures.
