Lucia Ortiz is inspired by the senses, motivated by art, nature, life and shaping the habitat. She dares and what she dreams of makes it come true.
She is a lover of the plastic arts and the exact sciences, she graduated from Architecture at the University of La Salle in Guanajuato, she continued with the Master at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia where she is currently a doctorate.
For 10 years he collaborated with renowned architecture studios in Barcelona (Miralles Tagliabue, Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura among others), Rotterdam (Erick Van Egeraat architects associated) and Paris (Day Architectes) in the development of city projects, infrastructure, equipment of high level, public space and competitions of different categories such as master plans, university campuses, housing, etc., located throughout Europe as well as in countries in the Middle East and Asia; learning that evolved to carry out leadership and management positions.
At the beginning of her career, she already had a portfolio of projects and work carried out, but it was until her return to Mexico that she made her Architecture Studio official. In intermittent format, she collaborated in the public sector with urban, city and environmental projects. All the actions of different spectra and scales described are permeated in the current design philosophy.
The architectural, ephemeral and urban projects, consultancies, teaching and active training on art, gender equality and the environment are systematically intertwined, maintaining a challenging discourse and commitment to society.
